I know that other parts of the country, weather-wise, certainly have it worse than we do up in the Pacific Northwet. However, that does not mean, for one second, that I cannot complain about our weather. We have had MAYBE two or three decent days this year. At this moment it is semi-warm, but it was a hideous and wet in the morning. My wife likes to garden and, even with a greenhouse, this is an uninspiring year to commune with nature.
Now, I do have my memories of the recent trip to Oaxaca, Mexico. And I am looking forward to heading back there sooner, rather than later.
My wife is a big Italy fan, although we always go there during the cold season because there are fewer tourists -- no wonder! Tourists are smart. But my wife likes Mexico too, I think in a large part because she fits right in when she dresses in the authentic native outfits.
