Johnny's Donuts Video - Bellingham WA

I don't do it very often, but sometimes when I think someone does a super good job, I will write a blog post about their success or their business. After all, when someone goes to great effort to be outstanding, others ought to be told about it.

Last week I wrote a post about my friends John and Karin Koons who have started a new donut shop.  I first met Karin, years back, when she was a real estate agent. John has been involved in making donuts since the 1960's so you will not find anyone who knows more about it than he does. His pastries, and he makes way more than simply donuts, are superb. That initial post that I wrote, right after they opened for business last week, is here.

I told John and Karin that I would, also, put together a little video about their shop and, in the video, I am trying to get across the neighborhood feel, and the nostalgic feel, of this excellent shop where they are friendly and the product is high quality. Johnny's Donuts is at 2201 Cornwall Avenue in Bellingham, only a couple blocks from where I lived as a kid. It is just down the street from where I went to high school -- Bellingham High School.

The video is down below, simply click on it. So far, fans of Johnny's Donuts (and there are lots of them) have been checking in with me and they like the short clip!
