Steven:
Is that chocolate in those baskets?
Steven, it looks like you have been hanging out in that little fish market on Avenue Mozart!
Christine,
That is marzipan in Italy.
Pat,
Candy fish.,
Ha! Candy fish on a Sunday morning doesn't sound very appetizing! LOL
Marzipan makes beautiful creations....but I think they taste horrible! Where in Italy? I was in Venice last year and planning another next spring...can't go too long without being in Italy.
I can't say that they marzipan looks very appetizing. I like fish and I like candy, but maybe not the two together.
Karen,
My wife and I have gone several times, I am not sure which city that is from. The best of it is from Sicily
I'm curious to know if this candy fish is extra sweet or kind of in the middle...
Ryan,
This is just candy. They can make this stuff look oh so real. No fish, just looks like it.
Tony,
It is basically almond paste. I think it is much prettier than the flavor it produces.
Reminds me of an old comedy song....
Fish Heads, Fish Heads, rolly polly Fish Heads....
your friend in Charlottesville Virginia!
Hey Steve,
I thought that was fish on ice! I've seen marzipan in my life but never like that!
Steven, Just noticed that you passed the 400K mark, Congratulations...
