Speechless Sundays

Check out "This Day In History" -- music and vintage television from the 1950's through the 1980's.  I enjoy writing these articles because they take me back to my days in radio broadcasting. Click on Elvis' gold record, below, to revisit those golden hits of yesteryear.

Marzipan makes beautiful creations....but I think they taste horrible! Where in Italy? I was in Venice last year and planning another next spring...can't go too long without being in Italy.

I can't say that they marzipan looks very appetizing. I like fish and I like candy, but maybe not the two together.

Karen,

My wife and I have gone several times, I am not sure which city that is from. The best of it is from Sicily

I'm curious to know if this candy fish is extra sweet or kind of in the middle...

Ryan,

This is just candy. They can make this stuff look oh so real. No fish, just looks like it.

Tony,

It is basically almond paste. I think it is much prettier than the flavor it produces.
