Big money does not always yield the expected results. This is the story of a band that became very famous. The four members of the group were international celebrities. Their string of hits put the act in the spotlight for more than eight years. Then the band broke up.

Did the band take the money? Nope, their answer was a resounding "no." One member of the group said that, if they were to plan a comeback -- and they would not -- then it would take more than cash to motivate them. They would have to want to do the shows.
Yes, my friends, it is time for Twin-Pick. This is the music trivia quiz where my assistants try to stump you and humiliate you with complicated questions. If you get an answer wrong, they will give you the Bronx cheer right here on the spot. On the other hand, if you get a question right, then you will see a video of the original artists performing the biggest of their popular hits. Just click on your chosen answer from the selections below to find out how well-informed you really are.

Last time, I clicked on each choice until I got to the last one left which was the correct answer. But this time I got it on the third click! yay
I like ABBA the least, so I figured it would be the one and sure enough.
Steve that TOTALLY freaks me out and goes WAY over my head!!!
Charlie,
At your over-inflated fees you have to do ten inspections to make that much money. By the way, can Nutsy borrow your vinyl album of Mama Mia for the week?
I thought for sure it was the Beatles. I'm with Charlie that is just weird.
Pardon me Mr James and Mr Charles. As my peers, I find it quite amazing that you are as naive as you seem to be. Have you never heard of the movie Mama Mia? It has a whole cult following. You guys are just so square. I had to give you a pizza my mind.
Nutsy Wallenda
Nutsy, I believe that movie would be referred to as a "chick flick". Real men watch films like The Terminator and anything with James Bond.
Mr James,
Then may I assume that you are a fan of my movie which was popular in Sweden? Is it safe to assume that?
Got it on the third try. I have tried to like Abba but just have problems doing it. My son loved them. Clue me in. Are they fantastic singers? All the songs sound alike to me.
I had already known about ABBA not doing the "Reunion". It's a shame, as they were great...loved them and still love them! It's good to see that Benny and Bjorn still colaborate on stuff. Thanks for the trivia...I enjoyed the song!
Cris,
Glad you liked them. They seem to not be the toast of the town here in the rain.
H-m-m-m. Who wudda thunk that one! I know that some of the early "sensations" developed a lot of bad blood between them as time went on. Too bad that fragile egos got in the way of exceptional talent... But then, that is just my 2 cents worth... Good to see that you have finally entered the world of color...

Big surprise at first, but then I think back and remember they're popularity (whether you liked them or not) and I guess it makes sense.
I choose the Beatles, and I was wrong. Hard to beleive, but I guess they already had millions by then so that would not be enough. I did not care for ABBA in the 70's, they were over rated and under tallented. Even after seeing Mama Mia I am sticking by my original accessment.
