A couple weeks back my wife and I decided we wanted some time off so we went south to McMinnville, Oregon. It is a small town, very pleasant, and like stepping back in time. Bellingham was kind of like that when I was a kid. One day we went on some winery tours. They have real wine growing country there. Some of the hillsides with the grapes remind me of Italy. One winery we visited, and liked the samples, was called Duck Pond. When we were leaving, we went around the side of the building and there was this pretty pond. Thanks for stopping by, Steven L. Smith

Yamhill County is so pretty. I live in Corvallis about 50 miles south of McMinnville and enjoy taking the back roads through wine country when I have to go to Portland,
Nice picture of the pond. Where was the duck?
That is beautiful! I am sure you were recharged after that visit.
I would have put a tent right by the pond and they would have had to call the police to get me to leave :)
Hello Steven, Duck Pond has always been one of my favorite "local wines." Glad you had a good time down this way. John
Interesting. We have a winery in a small Tennessee town called McMinnville too. I will not comment on the wines...
Helping you live your American dream...
Very pretty pond. Noticed ducks have enough sense to exclude squirrels. Kate
