The buzz in the local news lately is that those of us in Bellingham should see a modest increase in the prices of homes in the coming months. That applies to several Washington cities and the prognostication is from CNNMoney.com. CNN predicts that Bellingham, listed in their top 25 communities around the nation, will see a rise in prices this year. They suggest that the rise will be nearly 3%. It is interesting to note that eight cities, where they are predicting a rise, are in Washington state. Washington tops the list when looking at the numbers.
