As a home inspector, who is interested in marketing and has a background in it, I like to see good looking ads and flyers. With that in mind, I try to make sure that the materials I post on Craigslist provide a professional look. I am not much impressed with the average Craigslist ad that is drab and looks like a classified in the newspaper. I do not find Craigslist a big factor in my business, not compared to general SEO efforts, but I have had some calls, over the years, as a result of Craigslist ads. I borrowed from realtors here, who know how to make good looking flyers. The links below go to a couple flyers that I made and that are now active. This top one is a link to the Craig's list flyer that represents my home inspection firm, King of the House, Inc. http://bellingham.craigslist.org/rts/1697597847.html The lower one is a link to a flyer that promotes the Bellingham Technical College home inspection training program. http://bellingham.craigslist.org/rts/1706373596.html I think these color flyers with logos and information are a huge improvement over the average Craig's posting. Thanks for stopping by, Steven L. Smith

I find with craigslist, since the essence of the site was like a big list, buy, sell, swap guide to keep it on the lines of those simple lined add loaded with links to bring out the propaganda. But the more a craigslist real estate ad looks like a broker's more of the same, I think it dents the idea that this is a value and is not marketed with the nuance, essence of craigslist. Budget buster, low end deal like Maine land work well, but the more expensive high end property is not where Mainers turn. Good tool, just used in a certain way for certain niche properties I found.
The Craigslist ad for your home inspection company looks great. Nice job.
