The first person to give me the idea of using any video in my work was Steven Graham from here at Active Rain. He is an SEO whiz. I gave it some thought and did my first piece. My goal is not so much to be a video whiz as to use the medium to provide quick information to clients. I had done a long video on wood destroying organisms. That worked out well but then I realized that when a client had simply a carpenter ant issue, or some other specific pest, there was no point in sending that person to a much more expansive video. The one below, quite short, describes the problems people have with carpenter ants in the northwest. I include this link in my reports if, in fact, someone does have a carpenter ant infestation in progress. Some of these great ant photos were supplied to me by Don Hester of NCW home inspections, an Active Rain member.

I guess I too now have carpenter ants in my home ***sigh*** when will the expense ever end.

Steven, this sure is a mighty fine video on the subject of Carpenter Ants. They are a problem in this area also, just like they are in your area of the Country. Pretty good visual Steve. Haven't seen that many pictures of Carpenter ants in a while. The radio voice does help also.

Steve - Carpenter ants are a continued nuisance for me. It was actually a couple of years ago when you did some checking with your expert for me. I have been on a regular service ever since.
